"I purchased these for my husband. He flies frequently for business, drives long hours, etc. and the result is swelling in his ankles. He had bypass (6) surgery in 1999 so the swelling is particularly scary. First time, he wore these socks, he raved about them. No swelling at all plus his legs were not fatigued after a 12+ hour day on his feet! I purchased 2 more pairs and plan to purchase a couple of pairs each month so we can toss all his other socks. His ankles are so slim now that I realize that there had been residual swelling that we were not noticing because it never completely went away.
